Six Flags Wild Safari is located in Ocean, New Jersey, which is just outside of Jackson. It first opened in 1974 and today is part of the Six Flags entertainment complex which includes Six Flags Great Adventure and Hurricane Harbor. The drive through safari park covers approximately 250 acres with about 4.5 miles of road and is often referred to as the world’s largest drive through safari outside of Africa. It is divided into 11 themed sections, displaying more than 1,200 animals in their natural habitats. Some of the animals you will see include brown bears, giraffes, elephants, rhinoceros, lions, and kangaroos. 1. If you plan on visiting Six Flags Great Adventure as well, purchase a combo ticket. You can add on a Wild Safari ticket for $10 less than the normal admission costs.
2. If you are a AAA member, purchase your tickets through the Southern New England AAA office and you can save up to $30 on combo tickets for Great Adventure and Wild Safari.
3. Check out eBay. There are often sellers who sell their unused Wild Adventure tickets or coupons for admission. You just need to make sure that you are purchasing from a reputable seller.
4. Stop by the grocery stores in and around Jackson, New Jersey and look for special product packaging from Kraft foods. They often contain coupons good for at least $15 off admission to the Six Flags parks in Jackson.

Additional Six Flags Wild Safari Information

The Six Flags Wild Safari is open from 9 am to 4 pm most days. During the early and late months, Six Flags Wild Safari is only open on weekends. Just check the calendar ahead of time to see the current park hours. Admission to the safari park is $22.99 per person. There are currently no group discounts given for Wild Safari.
