Legoland California is located in Carlsbad, California, which is just outside of San Diego. The park first opened in 1999 and features more than 60 rides as well as a water park and Sea Life Aquarium. This is currently the only Legoland theme park with a water park inside.   4. Get the Fab 4 Package. It saves you $30 on admission to the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Safari Park, LEGOLAND and SeaWorld.
  5. Purchase a 3 day pass from Costco. It’s $99. Much cheaper than a ticket to each.
  6. If you plan to visit 2 or more times get the resort membership to all three theme parks. This is the best value for admission to Legoland, the water park, and Sea Life Aquarium.
  7. Military personnel get an additional 10% off their ticket. Just show your military ID at the gate.
  8. If you are an airline employee you’ll receive an additional 20% off your ticket. Airline ID required.
  9. If you plan to stay more than one day, purchase resort tickets which can include any combination to any of the Legoland affiliated parks. This includes the Sea Life Aquarium and Water Park.
  10. If you have an American Express card you can use your points to pay for your tickets to Legoland. Occasionally American Express will put these on sale so you can purchase the tickets using less points.

If you plan your vacation near any Legoland location then you must be sure to include a trip here in your plans. You will need to set aside the entire day to enjoy the theme park.
